Mounting

Every parasol needs the right mounting. With original Glatz accessories, stability, the manufacturer's wind resistance and the Glatz warranty are ensured. The configurator shows which mounting fits your model; size and dimensions are given in the product flyer. Most steel mountings are hot-dip galvanised and therefore durably corrosion-resistant.

Fixed

If the parasol always stands in the same place, a ground sleeve set in concrete is the cleanest solution: no base gets in the way, and with the parasol removed the anchor is flush with the ground. The stated maximum wind speeds are guaranteed with fixed anchors.

  • Ground sleeve: for sinking into the ground.
  • Mounting plate: when no ground sleeve can be set in concrete.
  • Wall bracket: when the parasol is to be mounted on a wall.

Base

If the parasol mostly stays in the same place and does not block walkways, a base is enough. Bases come in different sizes, weights and materials. If you want to move the shade with the sun, choose a wheeled base. With mobile solutions the maximum wind speeds cannot be guaranteed.

Lawn and balcony

  • Lawn spike: a mobile ground spike for small parasols on grass.
  • Balcony bracket: attaches the parasol holder to the balcony railing.
  • U-clamp for table tops: a clamping rail, ideal for balconies with a flat handrail.
